What is Circle Of Security Classroom?

At the heart of every child’s learning journey is a sense of safety and connection. The COSC Program introduces educators to the core principles of the Circle of Security Classroom approach, helping build secure, trusting relationships that allow children, and educators to thrive.

COSC is rooted in attachment theory, giving educators a clear framework to understand children’s emotional needs and create safe, supportive environments.

The program develops a consistent way of talking about feelings, relationships, and needs, creating a bridge between educators, children, and families.

Educators learn simple, evidence-informed strategies they can use in real time to support regulation, transitions, and connection.

This program isn’t just training, it’s the beginning of a cultural shift toward emotionally attuned, relationship-centred practice.

This program is designed for teams ready to lay strong relational foundations. It’s ideal for educators and leaders who want to embed emotional safety and connection into daily practice.

Whether new to early childhood or experienced, educators gain practical skills to strengthen relationships with children.

Directors and leadership teams can confidently align their relational approach with National Quality Standards.

The program lays the groundwork for consistent emotional language and trust between home and centre.
