How do I book an appointment?
Simply fill out our online contact form, and a member of our team will be in touch with you as soon as possible to guide you through the next steps.
How long does a session take?
Each standard session lasts approx 50 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes set aside for the Psychologist to complete notes and related work.
What are the number of session required?
The number of sessions will vary based on your unique needs and goals. Your therapy journey is personal, and we’ll work with you to determine the right pace and support along the way.
Do I need a referral from our GP?
A referral from your GP is not required for you to attend therapy. However, if you wish to receive rebates from Medicare for your sessions, a valid referral is required.
Can I claim your psychology services through my health cover?
If your private health cover includes psychology, you will be able to claim for psychological services. The rebate amount is dependent on your individual cover, it is best to speak with your health provider to determine this.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
We accept Self Managed and Plan Managed NDIS Plans. If your funds are NDIA-managed, any supports to you will be out of pocket as we are not a registered NDIS provider.
Do you do after hour sessions?
Ignite Psychology can offer after hour sessions pending availability. This incurs an additional $30 after hour fee on top of the session cost.
What if I cancel?
We kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session.
Cancellations made on the day of your appointment, or missed sessions without notice, will incur the full session fee to be paid.
What age groups do you work with?
We’re a dedicated child and adolescent service, here to support young people aged 2 to 18 years.

We are located directly behind the Village Medical Practice at 130 Smith Street Summer Hill, NSW, 2130. There is plenty of timed street parking available as well as a public parking lot on 11 Hardie Avenue, Summer Hill, NSW, 2130.
