Each standard psychological consultation will run for approx. 50 minutes with an additional 10 minutes of non direct work time (note taking)
The number of sessions required and frequency in which you will need to attend will be unique to you and your therapy journey.
A referral from your GP is not required for you to attend therapy. However, if you wish to receive rebates from Medicare for your sessions, a valid referral is required.
If your private health cover includes psychology, you will be able to claim for psychological services. The rebate amount is dependent on your individual cover, it is best to speak with your health provider to determine this.

We accept Self Managed and Plan Managed NDIS Plans. If your funds are NDIA-managed, any supports to you will be out of pocket as we are not a registered NDIS provider.
Ignite Psychology can offer after hour sessions pending availability. This incurs an additional $30 after hour fee on top of the session cost.
We require at least 48 notice for cancelling or rescheduling your scheduled session. Day of cancellations and no shows will incur the full session fee to be paid.
We are a child and adolescent service and can support children aged 2 to 18 years old.
We are located directly behind the Village Medical Practice at 130 Smith Street Summer Hill, NSW, 2130. There is plenty of timed street parking available as well as a public parking lot on 11 Hardie Avenue, Summer Hill, NSW, 2130.
